Should I remove all the old belkin router software, before installing the new Linksys E 1000 router?

Not necessary to remove all the softwares. You can simply run the CD for Linksys E1000 router and install it. Thats it.

Because of possible Internal IP conflicts with the two routers.

You should uninstall the Belkin router, then reboot the computer. Download and install CCleaner (free), to clean up the register and select "do not back up the register". Only then you install the new Linksys router E 1000CCleaner (free)filehippo.com/download_ccleaner.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
