Get Java here: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/j... Be sure to download the "JDK" not the "JRE". I'm sure you'll learn from class that the JDK is the full Java Development Kit that includes all the Java tools like the compiler, the Java library, as well as the JRE--everything you need to develop Java applications. The JRE is the Java Runtime Environment which is the only thing needed to run Java applications.

And just download from the first section "Java Platform, Standard Edition". The other stuff like J2EE further down on the page is additional stuff you don't need if you're just beginning with Java. After installing Java, you shouldn't have to reinstall Textpad.

Just change the configuration to point to where you installed Java. And do NOT confuse Java with Javascript. They share similar names but are completely 2 different languages and types of languages.

It sounds like you are learning Java, not Javascript which is a scripting language and not a complete programming language like Java.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
