I haven't found massages to be very effective for relieving back pain. They certainly are relaxing though. I have massaged Vicks Vapo Rub (a topical analgesic) into my neck for pain relief. It has been quite effective.
Stretching however, has been extremely effective. I stretch every day for pain relief. Mostly low impact yoga positions as I am prone to fatigue.
One that is great is sitting on your bottom with your legs stretched out in front of you. Bend forward from your waste and reach toward your knees/feet.As far as you can go. Don't force it as that will cause your muscles to stiffen in reaction.
Just ease into the stretch. A lot of website have picture dictionaries of yoga positions too!
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
