USGov announces best jobs report in years; unemployment down. How will the Republicans spin this to attack Obama? You can be sure that a positive sign of economic recovery and a reduction in unemployment will be spun by the Repo party as some sort of a negative slam on Obama.

A recovering economy is the last thing the Repos want - because it means that Obama's strategy is working. So how will they make this into a failure? money.cnn.com/2011/12/02/news/economy/jo... The jobs report is encouraging. However, I fear that in the near future the economy may worsen as the European Union falters. Recently the Federal Reserve promised to bail out the European Central bank.

If they fail, the American taxpayer will be left holding the bag. rt.com/usa/news/fed-european-bank-centra... com/usa/news/fed-european-bank-central-605.

The stock market is also up and more children in the US are covered by health insurance than in 2008. There is good news, but it's easy to discount with the same rhetoric we've been hearing for three years. You can summarize it:Obama bad!

Obamacare bad! Reality has nothing to do with the alt universe of FAUX Noise, the GOP spin machine.

I don't want to rain on the parade, but......we expected a drop in Nov, due to seasonal employment. Like the census workers who temporarily boosted jobs, it's temporary work. The numbers could also reflect people who have given up.It's a BIG drop, almost half a percentage point, so hopefully there is some real improvement in that number.

I'm just saying it might not be as good as it looks, but still good. The fact that there is any improvement at all with the GOP doing everything in their power to tank the economy is impressive indeed.

They repeat the mantra.... that doesn't make it true, or effective. ElBanditoRoso 27 days ago .

Hmmm. Not sure that it's not been effective. It seems that it's shaped the national dialogue.

They won't. They will either sabotage it or claim credit for it.

Of course it looks better all the people who lost there unemployment do not show no more as well as small business and home workers who have no work.

That's true, but that is how unemployment has been counted for 60 years. That's the consistent methodology. So if you're going to criticize the way things are counted, you should be aware that this is nothing new specific to Obama; it's the way unemployment has been coutned through the Nixon, Carter, Johnson, Bush, and Reagan years as well.

That the reason the unemployment rate dropped is because around 390,000 people gave up work or had their unemployment benefits dropped. Because fewer people are actually counted in the work force, the percentage counted as unemployed declined. Looking at labor force participation rates gives a better picture, with roughly 60% of adults working instead of the 66% who were working before Obama took office.

All of the hype and denigration of Obama's policies are being revealed as nothing more than an aspect of their 'beat Obama down' agenda. They are such a ragamuffin bunch of misfit loons for thinking they are so above it all. They really thought their 3 years of sticking pins in the Obama doll and the nightly beheading of chickens for the Fox News cameras was going to give them those genital extensions they so crave.

They rely on the public being vulnerable and oblivious. Turns out, that's what they are to actually think their goo doo was going to shield the truth.

I hope they can show some class and accept it for what it is. My long history of concervitism has recently been shaken by my own parties antics and unwillingness for compromise. I feel it's the GOP's obligation to positively react to Administrations ideology and wait thier turn.

Unemployment rate is 10.2%, but the number of jobs lost last month declined. Which statistic is more important? " "Would you work two jobs at minimum wage verses taking unemployment?" "Report: Republicans Give Up On Redefining Rape -- but not really.

" "What do you think of the March jobs report? " "In politics... how did the donkey become the symbol for the democrats and the elephant for the republicans?" "Will voting against the unemployment extension hurt Republicans this November? " "if I received a check for training but didn't work and didn't report it can they discontinue my unemployment benefits?

" "did obama really say"the republicans can ride along in the back of the bus"" "What years had low unemployment rates?" "My tier 1 unemployment extension is almost up. Can I apply for another extension? I'm in FL.

/ No jobs!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
