Any type of fruit or vegetable makes a good snack. For lunch, you can put some grape tomatoes or carrot sticks in a sandwich bag. Fruit leathers may be something your child will like. You can actually make your own fruit leathers as opposed to paying a little extra to buy them prepackaged. They taste so good children don't realize they are eating healthy.
For dairy, you can try the prepackaged string cheese or those individual containers of yogurt. I know they sell those at the grocery store specifically marketed for kids. Add a little fruit to the yogurt for a double dose of a healthy, filing snack.
