Grabbing a few chips here, a few M&M's there, etc. , adds up. Sometimes I'm annoyed that there's nothing in our house that's quick or easy to snack on, but it helps me eat less. If I have to prepare something, I'm going to ask "am I really hungry, or am I just bored?
" If I do want to buy some snack food, I buy raisins, corn chips, and other things that are relatively healthy and also something I'll tire of quickly. -If you can sneak off for 15 minutes at work, or during your lunch break, take a walk around the neighborhood -If you work a desk job, swap your desk chair for a yoga ball. If you can't go the full way on the stairs, at least stop a floor or two before yours and walk the rest of the way. Park several rows away from the store and walk further. Eat more raw vegetables.
I can't say that my weight loss program is going well but as I incorporate more of these at least I am not gaining more!
