What do YOU like to do with your tofu?

I love baked tofu! You can just use a bottle of BBQ sauce, make your own marinade, or try another condiment of your choice. For something quick and easy, I usually just use the BBQ sauce.About.Com Vegitarian Food Easy BBQ Tofu vegetarian.about.com/od/maindishe….

I do pretty much the same as you. Sometimes I'll coat it with flour or panko and do a quick pan fry to brown it. Then I put it into homemade sweet and sour sauce with pineapple, carrots, and peppers.

I also make a Tandoori sauce with veggies and tofu. Drain and dice it up straight from the package and add it to soups. The most complicated thing I've done is make TVP (texturized vegetable protein) for taking backpacking.

I highly season it and put it over polenta. I've used the soft or silken tofu for other things. But I've never been able to get beyond that chalky flavor it seems to have.

Maybe I need to shop around for a different brand.

Vegetarian for 10 years, soy-free vegan for 1 (allergies) :( you're very lucky!

Cut is small and add it to pasta for protein. Add it to pav bhaji (the veggies). You don't even notice it in there, and if you do, it's pretty tasty because of all the spices.

Stir fry it with taco seasoning and use it as a taco filling Cut and add it to miso soup...I should eat that tomorrow...ideas, ideas And of course, the ever popular stir fry. I eat it about once a month, it's pretty good. Prepared right.

I had vegan cheesecake, made with tofu, from a vegan restaurant. It was terrible. Put me off tofu for a good 8 years.

FYI everyone, exsft is a middle-aged child molesting Catholic! He once molested his daughter!

Idk I hate tofu, but only when I cook it, takeout tofu is always nice! But I will be sure to try the one you mentioned, it sounds delicious!

I like to throw it in the garbage and cook up something with flavor :D.

I like the not-too-firm, not-too-soft ones you can eat raw - I think they're Japanese or something. I remember in a restaurant in China, we had these really nice ones cut into cute mini-panna-cotta like shakes served with soya sauce. I like them with some chopped spring onion and chilli as well as a bit of vinegar.

Sometimes, I'll sprinkle on a little sea-salt too. Tofu tastes really nice with oriental style salads, cucumber or carrot strips/slices and stir-fries.

My favorite thing to do with tofu is not to buy it.

I don't buy or cook with tofu. If someone serves it, then I will eat it to be polite. I don't use it myself.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
