Everybody else does and every other country does. The Embargo is a fantasy of the American Right and the Cuban Exile community. Nobody else takes it seriously except as a risk to be circumvented.
Not a problem for me... I think the continued political action against Cuba is pretty much an outdated cause. Back in the 60's when all these censures took place it had it's purpose. However, the world is much smaller than before and we do business with China... hell we do business with Arab nations that have had ties to terrorism..
The continued boycott against Cuba is inherently ridiculous. We're talking about peddling sugar, water and flavoring here, not nuclear weapons. We have dealings with far worst countries, with the only difference being a large voting bloc of influential Republican voters in Florida.
I have more of a problem with the government continuing to subsidize big businesses to promote their products overseas. Coca-Cola can certainly afford to peddle their products overseas, without the $75 million in our taxpayer dollars that they're handed annually. Open trade, travel and dialog would do more to change the government in Cuba than the fantastically failed boycott that hasn't worked in 40 years!

I have no problem with it The embargo of Cuba is as anachronistic asthe Berlin wall and needs to be rethought. There is no intelligent reason for continuing that nonsense.
It doesn't matter, and here is 'why' .... If You have traveled to the far-flung areas of the world, You will know that these two soft drinks are everywhere, and not just in the dictatorship of Cuba. If for instance, You were to go to anyplace in Africa, they are there, even when the smallest of villiages has no electricity or running water. Go to the deepest part of China, Coke and Pepsi are there.
They are both Universal Global products. All through South America - they are there. Go to the Artic Circle or the Antartic - and again they are there long before other Global companies like (god-forbid - McDonalds).
