While giving them something cold to chew on always helps (the wash cloth suggestion above is wonderful I second it) I've had the best luck with teething tablets. There a tiny dis solvable tablet (no rubbing gross stuff all over your babies mouth) and seem to almost instantly make babies feel better. I was really hesitant to try them at first as I don't like medicating all ailments my kids have, I'm just not big on drugs, but these are all natural and really work.
I did some research on them which can be found here... associatedcontent.com/article/1564939/hy... Since I'm on my profile this one might help also.. associatedcontent.com/article/1376655/ea... I wrote both, my first son started teething at 2 1/2 months! It was horrible. My second is teething now, he's 6 months though.
I used the wet/frozen washcloth method with my son for his teething discomfort. It seemed to really work for me. I purchased some new white washcloths just for him.
I washed them, and made sure I rinsed them out twice. I didn't use colored cloths because of dye, and I rinsed them twice because I didn't want my son eating laundry detergent. I would wet the middle part and kind of gather it up.
Then I'd place it in a freezer bag so it would freeze. He loved chewing and gnawing on that frozen bit of the washcloth. I know several other people who used this with their children and it helped.
Really out of all the other methods I used, this one worked the best for my son.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
