What is the difference between public universities and private universities?

Public universities receive major funding through state and federal sources whereas private universities have private endowments and may receive funding through corporate, private philanthropic sources or private individual donors. Public as well as private universities have annual fund drives to bring in revenues for their ongoing maintenance and development.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
