What is the process for an employer to appeal a MI UIA Brd of Rev decision to the Circuit Court sys?

It sounds as if the employee expects the employer to appeal a decision of an administrative law judge or of the Board of Review to Circuit Court. Cases appealed to the circuit court go to the court nearest the employer or the employee. The employee should be prepared to testify at the court hearing.

She does not have to be represented by an attorney but she may hire an attorney to accompany her and assist her at the hearing. (Note: I am an advocate certified by the Unemployment Insurance Agency to represent claimants in hearings before administrative law judges and the Board of Review, but I am not a lawyer and I am not permitted to appear at circuit court hearings on behalf of claimants. Very few unemployment benefit cases are appealed to circuit courts.

I'm not sure what the percentage of decisions appealed to circuit courts are reversed. ) Here is a link to a digest of key decisions in Michigan unemployment compensation cases--dleg.state.mi.us/ham/mes/digest/mes_dig.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
