What neighborhood is the best neighborhood to live in Seattle and why?

East side of Capitol the backside of the hill, between 15th and 19th avenues. I like this neighborhood for many reasons. In no particular order:It's pretty.

Lots of nice old houses, great trees, good views in parts. Great walking neighborhood -- nice side streets without much traffic, nice parks (including the great Volunteer Park). Lots of good shops and restaurants -- 15th has a nice bustling commercial area, complete with a wine shop, good record store, good and dive bars, restaurants etc.19th is a bit more laid back, but still has my favorite coffee shop ever (Fuel), and two nice restaurants in Kingfish Cafe and that one across the street I forget the name of :) There's even a cool neighborhood ensemble theater group (Washington Ensemble Theater).

Finally, it's an easy commute to Amazon (about 15 minutes usually). Google Map View Larger Map .

Columbia City I'm a big fan of Columbia City. They have one of the greatest breakfast places in the city (Geraldine's Counter,) one of the best pizza places in the city (Tutta Bella,) and one of the best bakeries in the city (Columbia City Bakery. ) It's a great little street to mosey up and down on a lazy weekend.

On Wednesday's in the summer, they have a farmer's market that's gotten exponentially bigger in the last few years. CC is one of the last areas in the city where housing is still affordable too. I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
