Un42, I will answer these questions for you, especially since it's one I personally have the pleasure to answer. When you go to a gym and request a personal trainer, first thing you do is ask questions. Do not let this trainer tell you what to do right off the bat, but instead you tell him or her what you want.
Now in looking for personal trainer qualities, look to see if he has natural enthusiasm, number one, then see if his routines and game plan is loose and flexible and fun, not robotic. Now comes the exercise part. If, while doing your exercises, the trainer just stands there and says nothing, and even looks away for that matter, until your done, then you have a trainer that does not care about you, and is only trying to get paid.
I know a lot of trainers do this because I've seen many of them in action. If any of the above happens, dump that trainer immediately, and go as far as to even complain about it. The part about telling if a trainer will be able to motivate you is easy.
With that, just do what I stated above. Watch the trainers energy level, and furthermore, the trainers energy level towards you. The biggest part of having a trainer is motivation, and if one can not do it for you, then it's better to motivate yourself.
Un42, great questions, and I am glad to answer them for you.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
