What video card can I put in my Dell dimension 2400?

Yes, you'd need a SATA-to-IDE converter, or a SATA PCI card. You're throwing your money away, but it's yours to throw away, I guess. You can get the HDD carrier out easily; the physical mounting problem will be easily solved.

The 2400 was a decent, bargain bottom of the line box, without AGP or PCI-E, and cheap motherboard graphics. It's not worth upgrading. You want to do something with it?

Use it as a platform to learn a Linux distro, or run a server. (I've got ownCloud running on one of mine.).

If you bought the controller card, it would be possible on a technical level. Realistically, I don't know why you would bother. The rest of that system's hardware is so far behind SSD technology you would never realize the full potential of using one.

If you want to do it anyway, there are adapters for full size to 2.5" drives available on PC parts websites. They cost ~$10 and allow you to mount an SSD in a full-size drive bay. A better performance-for-money upgrade would be upgrading the old IDE drive to a SATA III platter drive.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
