The dumbest thing I've ever done is sticking my finger into a car cigarette lighter to "see if it was working," because it wasn't popping out. Try watching your finger melt before your eyes! YUCK!
When I was 16 I pulled into a parking space that had one of those concrete barriers in front of it. As I was leaving, I forgot the concrete thing was there and drove over it. My front wheels were already fully over and I wasn't sure if I should back up or just keep going. It was a 92 Toyota Corolla, so it was already pretty close to the ground.
So I just kept it in drive, hit the gas and said "I am shit, I am shit" over and over til I could no longer hear the bottom of my car scraping over the barrier. Got out and expected it to be fully trashed and leaking gas and all these other hollywood movie scenarios, but it wasn't really that bad. Just some scraping.
:) Another tard story: I also used to let my friends sit on top of my car through the moonroof (while I was driving). This is why teenagers do not need cars.Srsly.
I didn't ask this girl's number just because I didn't know her name. Haven't seen her since.
I once pulled up to a gas pump to get gas. Went into the station and paid cash for the gas ($10), then came out, got in my car and drove off. I never put the gas in my car!
I felt like such a retard, I never went back there.
I once ran into a fire hyrant with my mom's 1987 Honda Civic Hatchback.
The last day of my junior year of high school, I set my bookbag on fire out in the schools parking lot. Once it was completely up in flames, I drove off and went home. Unfortunately, everything did not burn up.
I had a library book in the bookbag that still had the name of the person who last signed it out. The school waited until the first day of school the next year to bust me. Luckily, I only had to pay for the book, and a week of detention that I skipped.
If you ever decide to light a bookbag on fire outside of your school, make sure there is nothing in it with your name on it!
Once I bought a used cotton candy machine at the Flea market. I payed $15 dollars for it. The box was all worn out but it still seemed all right.
I got home and took it out of its box, and then I saw these little cockroaches running around and I bigger dead one. I soon got rid of the roaches and cleaned the machine. I decided to try it out but then it made the little beeping sound that meant that it was to full of sugar.
I decided to fix it and then I saw that it was burned from the inside Where someone thought it was smart enough to shub Trix cerial down the little holes and I knew that I could not fix it. I now regret not checking it and buying it.
Tae-Bo VHS tapes. I used them once, then never again. I paid $60 for them.
Sessions with a personal trainer. It was super expensive, and she didn't really tell me anything I couldn't have learned from a few fitness magazines or just looking around the internet. It may have helped with my motivation in the beginning, but a workout partner would have done the same thing.
A group class to attend would have served that purpose too. I definitely would not pay for one-on-one fitness training ever again.
Anything with the words "As seen on tv. " Never again. It's all junk.
I would like to elaborate on this but it would be along the lines of - this item was junk and this item was junk and then I went to a as seen on tv store and noticed that everything in there was junk. It looked like a dollar store but at least at the dollar store you only pay a dollar for the junk and you know it's junk. As seen on tv stuff is junk that they want you to think isn't junk...but it is... and in case you missed it As Seen On TV = JUNK.
Probably a Nehru jacket at an expensive price, many years ago. I think they were in style for about a week, and then they looked ridiculous.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
