When I burn a cd or dvd with nero why can't I play it on other computers when it works fine on my computer?

Im running windows vista. The cd actually does have files which play on it either audio or video however it won't play on other computers. For example: I bought a music cd and ripped it to my computer but when I burnt a copy to play on my computer at my parents house it won't play.

I've tried playing it on various other computers with the same problem. It does however play on my original computer which I burnt it on.Is the new nero copywrited so the data burnt plays only on my computer? If so how do I change this or what other program can I use to get around this problem?

Older systems may experience the compatibility issues you're describing but they are often very old drives meaning over 7 years or even later. Also, Nero and other CD writing applications have a "Close session" feature which ensures higher compatibility. Best of luck .

1 Apparently, CDs burned on Nero (which I've never heard of) can only be played on its own software. There are so many FREE CD-burning software products that can be played on any computer, I can't imagine why you chose such an obscure one. Try Roxio Creator, CDBurner XP, or other such programs.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
