Which countries consume the most flour per capita, and what impact does that have on health/obesity?

It looks like Australia leads the world in wheat consumption, which would INCLUDE flour but would not be limited to it: nationmaster.com/graph/agr_gra_whe_con_p... They're followed by Russia, Turkey and Canada. This doesn't really seem to line up with obesity statistics all that well: nationmaster.com/graph/mor_obe_percap-mo... Though nations like US consume more flour per capita (and overall) than nations like India and China, and also have higher rates of obesity, I'm not sure there's any direct link, certainly not a provable one. Seems like a correlation rather than a causation.

There are different kinds of flour. But according to FAO, the country who imports more flour of wheat (the most common one) is Lybia. The consumption of flour does not have a direct correlation to obesity, I don't think.

Better look at sugar and fat consumption for that.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
