Why do jehovahs witnesses shun their family members if shunning is considered a form of mental torture?

If he wants worship, then he'd have to give me reason to worship him. Things that don't involve fear, threats, or rewards. If it does, he can forget it.

If no legit reasons exist, then he will simply get friendly acknowledgement. Perhaps a thanks for Earth, life (not necessarily the state of life) and a request to fix or change some things about humanity. I suppose if he came through on those things he might garner a bit of praise, but not necessarily worship.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
