Why do Republicans hate Unions that protect workers rights?

They don't like anything that makes someone treat people like human beings.

Republicans hate unions because they are a headache to people who own businesses. Unions have the power to take over the entire business. The US has strong laws that protect the unions so much that they can do whatever the heck they want.

Some businesses actually shut their doors and move because of unions. It makes no sense to me that unions should be so powerful. Who took out the loan to start the business?

The owner. Who had the idea? The owner.

Who runs the business? The owner. Who is going to pay the most if the business goes bankrupt?

The owner. Who pays FICA + FUTA? The owner.

Who works for the company and bands together to ask for ridiculously high pay and benefits based on the threat that they will strike and disrupt business? The union. Does it surprise anyone that the Italian mafia runs certain unions?

It doesn't surprise me. Unions are extortionists just like the Mafia. They get money by threatening the business owner with strikes and other types of disruption.

They are just like the Mafioso that walks into a grocery store in the movies. He says "you have a nice business here, it would be a shame if something would disrupt business wouldn't it?" He then proceeds to ask for money to protect the business owner from destruction he was going to cause and he will ask for more money later on.

The unions ask for more money and benefits in exchange for not disrupting business. There is no difference between these accept one is legal and the other is not.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
