Why doesn't freedom of speech in America exist anymore?

I don't think that's a good reason and he kind of overreacted. That being said, especially now the way people defend gay people, you most likely can't do anything about it. Yes you have freedom of speech, but they have the right to fire you within reason.

I would never use that sorta language with my boss unless I knew they were okay with it. I would just move on and get new job because there is not much you can do. Also I don't think you want to work for someone who would get but hurt over that (no pun intended) when you didn't even use it in an offensive way.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
