Would you return an abused and neglected dog?

I suggest calling the RSPCA cruelty line on 0300 1234 999 and reporting your concerns. The person who takes your call will ask you to outline the reason why you believe the owner may be neglecting or abusing the dogs and that would be the fact they are thin and possibly malnourished, scarred and the back garden - which they can escape. Under the Animal Welfare Act 2006 the RSPCA now have the authority to seize a dog that is neglected or abused or issue a warning for the owner to undertake certain measures or the dog may still be seized.

I suggest using the map to count the number of houses in the street, then from the end of the street count until you reach the dog owners home, then go to the street to get the number. Once you have contacted the RSPCA, it is then for people who have the power to act on behalf of dogs to decide if an allegation of cruelty warrants further investigation and you will have done all you can reasonably do to help the dogs.

If you walk that way often, try and take a picture or two with a simple digital camera or your phone. Make note where the location is to describe it to the RSPCA, so when you call you can say "This is what happened, this is what I saw, and this is roughly where I saw it." I would assume they would appreciate the call and can possibly figure out the location from the details you give them.

Good luck! :).

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
