Can I use a USB stick for SATA drivers when installing XP? (I don't have a floppy drive)?

No, you can't. Simply because XP will not recognize those drivers. I have a HP DV 6700 and tried the same thing when downgraded it from Vista to XP.It has a SATA HDD and I had to implement the driver for my SATA HDD to my XP kit.

There are several programs that can do that, however, you need a second laptop if you already used the format function on yours.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
