Can you give me ideas for finger food or appetizers for a small scrapbooking party? Nothing fancy, and affordable please?

Nothing fancy, and affordable please I am helping a friend who is in the middle of a meltdown put together a last minute scrapbooking party that she forgot she agreed to do (lol). Our budget for finger foods is very very small and we do not have a lot of time to cook. She is making one thing with cream cheese and crabmeat and I am assuming that will be served with crackers.

I was thinking maybe hummus and tebbouleh with pita chips, but I think some kids may come and I would like kid and adult friendly stuff to serve. Thanks for any ideas! Quiche or mini quiche A large one: Pre-heat oven to 350 F. Grease a large, flat pan at least 12 inches in diameter and 2 inches deep. Take a cup of ham, broccoli, spinach, pepper, or whatever you want to put in your quick quiche, and a cup of grated cheese of choice.

Swiss, emanthaler, even cheddar works well. Spread these ingredients evenly on the bottom of the greased pan. Next, put 2 cups of milk and 4 eggs in a blender and beat for 1 minute, then add a pinch of salt and a generous teaspoon of black pepper.

Then add 1 cup of bisquick and mix til smooth. Pour this mixture over the ingredients in your pan, and bake for 45-50 minutes in the 350 F oven. Test center to see if it has set.

Small ones-use a muffin tin- grease well, sprinkle ingredients as above, about 17-20minutes cook time or til set. Enjoy! Try nutrition-goddess.com/ for more interesting recipes for healthful snacks.

Even cut up veg (carrots and celery) and store bought dip will work. Best of luck and have fun! .

1 It's apple season, how about apple slices with a caramel dipping sauce. Kids and adults will love it.

3 you can make a caramel dip by taking a can of sweetened condensed milk and simmering it in a pan of water for three hours. My thought was li'l smokies in BBQ sauce (toothpicks to eat them with - but it may be messy for scrapbooking) .

4 "you can make a caramel dip by taking a can of sweetenedcondensed milk and simmering it in a pan of water for three hours. "This is all you do?! Wow!

I might have to try that! Does it end up being just like a jar of carmel?

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
