Cat food...Wet vs. Dry?

Cats don't mind the switch between wet and dry. Dry food produces less stinky litter boxes. But, when cats get older, a diet of dry food exclusively can cause constipation.

When that happens, feed wet food mixed with, of all things, canned PUMPKIN! Now, don't use pumpkin pie mix. That has spices that are actually harmful to cats.

Just straight canned pumpkin. I have one cat that will eat canned pumpkin straight. And when they get all backed up, canned pumpkin gets things moving again.

Some people keep some dry food out for their cats all the time. If your cat doesn't over eat, this is fine. But some cats will eat constantly if you do that and get over weight.

Feeding twice a day always worked for us. How much depends on your cat's size and activity level.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
