Do you think Sarah Palin is a viable candidate for Presidency?

Well I know Tina Fey would love it. Non-stop material for 4 years!

Dear Jesus, I hope not. Sarah Palin is an idiot, possibly even dumber than Dub. He was the worst president ever.

She would be even worse.

I hope you are not serious. No way no how is she capable of being president. If she runs she will be good for the democrats.

There are those who hate her and those who love her. I am not sure that today 01/11/2010, she is ready for this high office. I feel that she might have potential. It is something that time only will tell.

I do not believe that she is as dumb as Joy Bahar tries to make you think. There are a lot of jealous people such as Joy and others who mock her and they are only making themselves look bad, not Sarah Palin. Anyone of character does not gain credibility by downing someone else.

They appear to be offended that she seems to manage a family, a career, has a loving relationship with her husband who is handsome, she has a great figure and can speak her mind. For all those things she is dumb....and because she gained people power almost over night; they are jealous. All the bad remarks will not change the outcome if something is meant to be....Just my opinion.

It's been five months since you asked the question, Tank, but only tonight that I knew about it. Here's my answer:I not only believe that Sarah Palin is a viable candidate for the Presidency in 2012 but have also firmly committed to doing what I can to help her win both the nomination and the election. To that end I've written (to date) over 20 pro-Sarah hubs and intend to write hundreds more over time.

Her memoir, Going Rogue, was an inspiration behind my commitment and continues to be a valued reference.

I think you have to "qualify" the term "viable". If it refers to whether she is qualified to hold the office, I would say "yes" in that she has successfully run the Alaskan government and apparently did a dang fine job of it even in the eyes of the opposition in her state. She also has shown she has the moxie to stand up for what she believes.

Now, if viable refers to does she pass the "litmus test" of comfort for America, it becomes a different story much akin to the process of "shooting up a race horse" says that she has to span the male voter base that still does not believe in any woman holding the office, she must gain the trust of the untrusting female who is more easily swayed by a charming man as oppose to threatened by an intelligent woman, the there's the minority vote and the rabid liberal sect in the country. In my mind, she is as viable as most any potential candidate the Republicans have at hand. In my opinion, Mike Huckabee is a better choice and I firmly believe a Huckabee-Palin ticket could be a winner for the Republicans.

Mike Huckabee is an effective speaker, an honest leader, a spiritual man and he greatly loves this country and wants only the best for it. With Palin's spark added to the ticket for excitement, it could be a real force to contend with in 2012 (that is if they are interested). WB.

I’ve read her book ‘Going Rogue’ and think more people should read it. The book left me with the impression that she has a strong commitment to good values, and to our Constitution. I’m not sure she is a viable candidate for president, not at this point.

However, I am convinced that she has the greatest potential of anyone I’ve seen to have a long lasting and positive effect on the future of American government.

To put it bluntly: No. She's almost as much of a buffoon as Bush is and perhaps more so.

I can see her being put out there, but I think she has too much baggage. She's put herself out there too much and said too much stupid stuff to be a good candidate.

Sarah Palin as a candidate for presidency is no laughing matter, but it is my personal opinion that she is not president material. As we saw her running for vice president, she is not as well-informed as a president should be. Not to say she is unintelligent, but the media has portrayed her as anything but a viable candidate.

I would not personally vote for her, but there are many that would. Does she have a chance of winning? Not unless the other candidates had worse publicity, and poor interviews.

Palin is not prepared for office and odds are she will not get more than 10% of the votes.

She has too many liabilities both politically and personally.

Any patriotic American born person with a grasp of how the system works can become president. They just have to have enough money to buy into the "insider club" in Washington. Palin has the money and the heart and her policies are sound but I don't know if she can get into the "old boys club" though.

She needs sound backing from the inside.

No, No, NoI am indifferent to her as a person, As I do not know her personally, However from Her various speaking engagements and interviews My conclusion on Her leader ship skills are as follows:Intellectually She reeks of desperation and lacks pragmatic ability. She is charismatic, and that is why people follow Her. She tends to use a religious bent to cover Her intellectual shortcomings.

She also tries to use a self induced sympathy in her favor.

I believe that Americans have reached a point of complacency and apathetic indifference , No, she will never be president. Americans have grown too cynically motivated , imbittered and devisive to be objective enough as a nation to sift through a maladjusted media's outlook ......and see clearly . Sounds negative doesn't it .

But , thats where America is right now, can we improve our position? Who knows. Voters are so misinformed that they don't know Sarah from Tina's political positioning.

Personally I wish she would come back to the Mat-Su Borough as mayor and kick that pack of drunkin' pencil pushin' sailors our on their hip pockets. There isn't much help for the federal gov so why waste good talent on that sewer.

Our founding fathers are twirling in their graves. Anything can happen in this big country. I am sure 'Going Rogue' was ghost written.

If the big money wants her in she has a chance. I like her but I can't seriously see her as a president.

Definitely not. Sarah Palin does not have the mental capacity nor is she qualified to hold the highest office in the land. In short the lady is as stupid as a box of rocks. It would be a sad scary day should she ever attain this position.

Sarah Palin has the critical thinking skills of a frog. I would like to apologize to all frogs everywhere for equating their species with someone like Sarah Palin.

No. Ms. Palin is a great campaigner but unsuitable for this job.

The presidency is not a reality show contest. It's a serious, extremely difficult and often unrewarding JOB that most people would never want to take on.

Sarah Palin would be a good candidate with Rush LImbaugh as her running mate. Glenn Beck could be her campaign manager and White House information officer.

No, Ms. Palin is not a viable candidate for the Presidency. She barely qualified as VP candidate when she was the Governor of Alaska.

Having resigned and made numerous gaffes since then while getting a lot of press and collecting a lot of speaking fees none of which shown her to be anywhere near potential Presidential timber.

While she started out as a viable candidate with fresh ideas and a spunky attitude; unfortunately I do not believe she can overcome the issues that have been dragged through the media in order to become a viable candidate for presidency.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
