Does Coke Zero taste more like regular Coke or more like Diet Coke?

I actually like Coke Zero although I cannot characterize its flavor as being close to original Coke. It s sweeter than Diet Coke, but since it lacks the thicker and stickier consistency that can only be obtained from real sugar or corn syrup, it does not leave you with an original Coke sensation. Coke Zero,as well as its competitor's equivalent Pepsi Max, are sweetened with acesulfame potassium.

Personally, this gives the products a naturally sweeter taste. To me it edges down the chemical after taste of standard Diet Coke or Diet Pepsi. Incredibly, as I read the replies posted here and from comments of friends and family, many find the reverse to be true.

Maybe it is just the way some of us react to acesulfame potassium on our taste buds.

For me, it tastes like.. well, the best descriptive I have is not for polite conversation. On the occasions I have had to drink it.. say, if the water in the home tasted worse, and nothing else was there, I found a way to deal with it. I put it in the freezer until it's frosty on the outside of the can/bottle.In a near frozen state, the cold distracts my tongue.

In this way, I would say it is more like Diet Coke. I do the same thing with Diet Coke. Also interesting is that I have always found Diet Coke to have al almost.. perfumy.. aftertaste, and Coke Zero has it as well.

Definitely diet coke. It tastes nothing like regular coke, even though it is advertised as tasting like it. I actually think it tastes more like pepsi than anything else.

It taste like a nuclear waste to me. I can't stand the chemical taste that is so heavy in the drink. I don't like Diet Coke either and I don't drink many Coke, but Coke Zero is definitely the worst.

I don't get it, why people would drink that stuff and think that a drink that tastes like chemical waste can be healthy. To make the drink tastes sweet without sugar, the company adds artificial sweetener, and artificial food is generally bad for you.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
