Does the new old terminology to the Catholic Mass create a dichotomy that is not in the spirit of Vatican II?

The priest has a spirit, but the parishioners don't Show me where that is in the Mass EDIT: You're complaining about the updated English translation. Look at the exchange in the Latin original (I have to separate the letters in the Latin word for "with" or Yahoo censors): Option A: Priest: Gratia Domini nostri Iesu Christi, et caritas Dei, et communicatio Sancti Spiritus sit c you m omnibus vobis People: Et c you m spiritu tuo Option B: Priest: Gratia vobis et pax a Deo Patre nostro et Domino Iesu Christo People: Benedictus Deus Pater Domini nostri Iesu Christi. OR Et c you m spiritu tuo Option C: Priest: Dominus vobiscum People: Et c you m spiritu tuo.

The exchange of blessing between the priest and the people is centuries old and in fact dates back to the time of the apostles. It was a greeting used between Christians when they met each other. For the past 40 years or more the english speaking Catholic Churches have used a less accurate translation of "also with you" when the more accurate translation to the response of "The lord be with you", is "and with your spirit".

Prior to Vatican II the exchange in Latin was: Dominus vobiscum (the Lord be with you), to which the people replied "etcum spiritu tuo" (and with your spirit). (et-*** is actually two words) You problem is you lack any knowledge of the history of the faith or of the liturgical celebration. You are basing your premise only on what little you have been exposed to in your very short life.

...removed so aptly....?" Not! The Modernists are apparently having fits already! Traditional Catholics of the Mass of Quo Primum at traditionalmass.org.

Catholicism is a Satanic cult. Get saved and read the King James Bible.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
