Have you ever used a convection STEAM oven? If so, how do you like it?

More cost effective for commercial kitchens than home use. I read several articles about the steam/convection ovens including the manufacturers website for several brands, including Blodgett. These combination ovens are mostly used in the food service industry as they allow large amounts of food to be cooked faster than a normal oven and most importantly, the food is heated more evenly than a conventional oven.

Steam convection ovens also keep the food from drying out during the cooking process which is a big plus for poultry and roasts. The big question to ask yourself would be, "Would I use it on a daily basis or just for cooking the Thanksgiving turkey? ".

If you are not going to be using it on a regular basis it probably would not becost effective for the price. They also use a lot more energy than a conventional oven. The widest Gaggenau model is 27 inches in the outside dimension and only 17 inches high, so the size of the food that you would be cooking is very limited.

The other thing to consider is the installation. For a home install the unit takes up a lot of unseen space due to clearance regulations and of course it also has to be hooked up to a water supply. Before deciding on any model read the install instructions first and local code regulations or talk with a professional installer before buying one.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
