Yes. Are they assholes for it? Yes.

They own the land, it is their right to do with it as they please, they should be allowed to practice their religion in any way that is not violent. Even if they owned the very spot of "ground zero" they would have the right to build it. But it is inconsiderate, rude, and cruel.

I think that I am tired of seeing questions about it. I think that it would not be an problem if it was not for the Christian Taliban. Since the Christian Taliban exists, courtesy of propaganda organisations like Fox and the Discovery Institute, then it is not a wise move.

However, given the pronouncements of some muftis in Australia, wisdom is not a defining characteristic of the Islamic clergy.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
