If you bought the laptop yourself then they shouldn't tell you whether or not you should take it to school. If they helped pay for it or payed for the whole thing, they have every parental right to advise you not to take it to school. Do you really need your personal computer?
They're just looking out for you. How heartbroken would you be if it were stolen? Everywhere things are stolen, your school is not special.
Or if it accidentally got smashed on the floor? Taking electronics out into the public is in my opinion asking for problems. I always use my crappy college computers over my laptop.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
