Salvation doesn't necessarily deliver us from all of our physiological conditions in this life. If depression is the result of a chemical imbalance, that is a condition of our body. And we will not be delivered from our bodies until death or the return of Christ.
If depression is the result of dwelling on negative thoughts, then a person should focus their minds upon the truth of God's word and the encouragement and counsel of fellow Christians in order to allow the Spirit of God to transform them by the renewing of their mind. But we simply can't paint all depressed people with a broad brush. There have been many a faithful saint who has suffered from dementia when they reached old age, and it wasn't caused by a lack of faith.
They think if they say that it brings in more customers & then they act like a bunch of delusional idiots. No intelligent person believes this kind of stuff. So Yes it is possible & very likely.
It is not healthy to hide how a person really feels. We are not always happy with what happens & as we learn more it can get easier but no one should be joyful under all conditions. If a person has a child that goes out to the lake & drowns & they are handed the body...oh, Yes, I am so happy...that is insane and so is religion.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
