In Firefox 3, what could I have done to not be able to see my bookmarks on the bookmark toolbar?

If I right-click the the bookmark toolbar usually it is, the bookmark toolbar is checked. The only thing prior to this was add the history button to the navigational toolbar and I had downloaded "IE View Lite". Most probably you have drag-and-dropped the bookmark icon back into Customize Toolbar. I think while you were trying to drag and drop the "story" icon into your Toolbar you somehow drag and dropped the Bookmark option back. 1) Open your Firefox and under View tab select Toolbars.

Make sure to have Bookmarks Toolbar option checked. 2) From the same place (i.e. Firefox>View>Toolbars) click on Customize... A window opens that it says Customize Toolbar.

Drag and drop the Bookmarks icon into the Bookmark Toolbar, if it didn't already show up there after going through the first step. And you are done. 3) If you still have nothing there that is because you have emptied your Bookmark Toolbar.In that case click on Bookmarks tab.

Find Organize Bookmarks and click on that. A window opens that you can organize your bookmarks. On the left hand side you should see a column containing Bookmarks Toolbar.

Click on that and see if it is empty. If so you should add whatever you want to this place and they will appear on your toolbar..

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
