I don't think Obama acts as much like a celebrity as the media seems determined to portray him as a celebrity. I think it's a symptom of our time, where people prefer "reality" television and seem unable to accept the fact that most important things wind up being humdrum and boring. Tech stocks, green energy, housing boom = exciting.
Paying off your credit cards, savings accounts, waiting until you can afford something before buying it = boring. We are paying the price for our "entertaining" choices. I hope Obama doesn't wind up being a bad choice.
But charisma and buzzwords (Hope, Change) won't get much done in the real world. More.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
