Is there anything more unAmerican than trying to break a union other than sending our jobs away?

The Rebublican party is not trying to help America they are trying to destroy the Democratic base of support, unions and working people. Without opposion they can give the rest of our country away to their rich supporters. CEO's are mostly republicans who get a big raise for laying off workers.

I do not believe there is anything more unAmerican. Breaking the unions is backed by the Koch brothers, the billionaires who own much of American business. Maybe companies are striving to take us back to the turn of the previous century when they held all the cards and could take advantage of the then immigrants.

Once the European immigrants, by way of a second and third and so forth generation, formed unions to no longer be taken advantage of, companies had to seek out the poor in other countries with no unions and people willing to accept slave wages. Now that those 'poor' countries, such as Chinese workers, seek better wages, it also costs American companies more to ship goods here and elsewhere, they would like to come back to America, but want to call the shots. The power of billionaires like the Koch brothers should never be underestimated.

I certainly can't think of anything more UNAmerican than busting unions and shipping the good jobs with fair wages and benefits overseas , to leave our people jobless ( or grossly underpaid in jobs w/o benefits) , and to exploit the people we ship these jobs to. Corporate America is running and ruining this country. And blaming the working people.

Why people are falling for this , I have no idea?

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
