Maybe my priorities are outta whack?

So I have this yoga class I was supposed to go to this morning at 6:45am, but I ended up sleeping through it. I tried to stay up all night cuz I thought I would automatically sleep wayyy past that time if I go to bed. I'm not a morning person at all :(.

So...was it worth picking up my friend who was in the middle of a brawl, drunk, and on the bad side of town, and needed comfort over her nasty breakup until 11:30pm? I didn't wanna go to bed after that, but maybe I should do better in school. If I do better in school and go to bed earlier, I don't think I'll be there for my friends.

I don't think I wanna lose my friends cuz they've helped me out a bunch in the past. Ugh! Asked by Anonymous 35 months ago Similar questions: priorities outta whack Entertainment > Humor.

Yoga class.... If you are not a morning person do not sign up for morning yoga classes. Try to change it to the end of the afternoon, maybe after work before dinner. One should not exercise to close to bed time because it will be hard to fall asleep.

Your friend in the middle of a brawl.............. reality check......... it is not part of a regular schedule and of course, if a friend had been there for you, make sure to be there for them. Needs comforting...... of course......comfort your friend but at a time that is convenient for you and it does not interfere with your list of "must do". By your question and explanation it's clear that you already know the answer.

You have to have a definite schedule, making sure you get plenty of rest so you can function well in school, have time for exercise for your health and have plenty of time to be supportive of your friends. Don't forget the uninterrupted time you need to study. Turn the cell phone off.

You are the only one able to control what should be placed in the back burner. Good luck.

1 You priorities are out of whack. "If I do better in school and go to bed earlier, I don't think I'll be there for my friends. " So I guess your friends are gonna support you when you flunk out of school and can't get a job?

Dude! Yes it is the right thing to do, to help friends. However, there comes a time when you have to put yourself first.

Not letting a friend drive drunk is the right thing to do. Missing sleep and skipping school because you were listening to a drunk cry and slobber all over herself is not.

2 One the one hand, friends are among the most valuable things a person can have. On the other, maybe you need some higher quality friends. Then you can do well in school *and* have friends, because they won't be basket cases you have to put back together again every week.

(A quote from Terence, a Roman comic dramatist, 185 BC - 159 BC). Yes, you should help your friends but not at the risk of harming yourself or your future. Yes, pick your drunken friend up and deliver her safely home, but then get yourself safely home and get the sleep you need to function well in school.

Just don't go overboard with either aspect of your life.

4 Very good advice from all of the above. Your education is your future. Sure you want to be a good friend, but your future is at stake, and your friends should understand this.

Staying up all night never works - you have to crash sometime. Like darwin said, moderation is the key! .

Is there anything at all that they like about him?" "Charlie Rangel...tax cheat. Is he "outta there"? " "My sleeping patterns are out of whack!" "Whack a Spammer" "Who wants to play whack-a-kitty?

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
