I have been in a similar situation and I think the best thing for you to do is contact a womens shelter that spealizes in domestic violence cases and contact a trusted friend. I would pack up your things and your childs things and go stay somewhere were he won't be able to find you. You don't deserve to be treated like that.

Don't leave a note or anything and don't return, go file for an ex-parte and make it so he cant be around you or your children. You need to be safe and protected and especially your children. I am happy that you are trying to get out of this situation, I know its not easy and they are some of the best manipulators out there.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
