Taking trip to Col Springs 6/21 looking for easy fly fishing area for trout within 1 hour?

My daughter will be with me and a novice at fishing. Rigged her up with Spin cast outfit, and I am taking my 5 wt fly rod system. Want her to have a great chance to catch trout without falling into the streams.

There is a great camping spot with an ICE cold creek/river running through. Eleven Mile Creek (in Lake George)...but you need to make sure you contact them ahead of time for reservations if you plan on camping. Otherwise, there is picnic tables as well as nice fishing spots.

3 Yup....you can get to Eleven Mile Creek in no time at all. If I remember correctly, it took us less than an hour to get there and we lived on the northside. When we went after moved the southside by Peterson AFB, it didn't take all that long either.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
