If the cherry tomatoes are still really hard or firm the yes you can still can them the only thing that might happen is that they will not be as solid as if they would have been canned green. Yellow ones are definitely fine. Once they're red though don't jar them because they will become mush.
If you are concerned about canning them green, try placing them in a box layered with newspaper, placing them in a cool, dark space, and they should ripen in a matter of days.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
