What happened to the gunman that shot at Bob Marley?

Some people believe that Bob Marley was murdered by gunmen but he was not. Marley died of Cancer. Bob Marley was attacked by gunmen in 1976.

The gunmen are unknown. In December 1976, two days before "Smile Jamaica", a free concert organized by Jamaican Prime Minister Michael Manley in an attempt to ease tension between two warring political groups, Bob Marley, his wife and manager were shot at by several unknown gunmen inside Marley's home. Bob had minor injuries to his chest and arm and while the shooting was thought to be politically motivated, he still performed the free concert as scheduled.
