When did Pink Floyd first tour Europe?

Pink Floyd first toured Europe in 1968 with Peter Watts as their road manager. They had taken on a new guitarist in Dave Gilmour to support the failing talents of Syd Barrett, and at some point decided to play without him entirely. The first leg of the tour found them playing places like Antwerp, Belgium, Cambridge, Manchester, Belfast, Northern Ireland, Oxford, Liverpool, London, and Rome.

Many of these gigs were at smaller clubs and college campus venues. The second leg of the tour started with a few canceled concerts in Wales and the Netherlands before taking off through English towns like Erdington, and Bristol. They played a series of shows around London in clubs and festivals.

They ended the tour in Rotterdam and Utrecht in the Netherlands.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
