The MacBook Pro is better. Apple is highest rated for customer satisfaction, reliability, tech support and resale value. In a edition with the Alienware you have to run Windows which means 1.5 million forms of malware and viruses to worry about.

Ever read the complaints in the security section here about why it takes 12 hours to check their Windows computer for viruses, and the constant requests for ways to remove a virus? There hasn't been a MacOS X virus in 5 years with less than .01% of all malware targeting Macs. That's 1/100th of 1 %.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
