Why did my cat violently attack me when I danced gayly to the project runway intro song?

My cat was on my our bed and I turned project runway on. It was a little bit loud, and then I started dancing to make my girl friend laugh, and I was dancing in front of Viper (our cat) and leaned forward and she attacked me. Scratched me 3 times on my forehead leaving deep cuts.

Then she became aggressive (her fur was completely puffed out, her ears were back and her back was arched) and started following me to attack me further. Maybe I surprised her with the loud music on? Too loud, and you got in her face, and she just plain did not like that and she told you in NO uncertain terms that you needed to back off and leave her alone. She felt threatened, by your dancing the loud music etc. Was she cornered, with no other way to escape?

Some timid natured cats can get like that if there's a change in their owners...1 of my cats has growled when I've washed my hands or tried a new perfume...new things sometimes make cats feel threatened .

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
