Why does Jesus teach salvation by works in the synoptic gospels,?

Christians have never been able to agree on anything other than the basic dogma that salvation is necessary.

1 Jas 2:18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. 2 "Work of faith." 1 Thessalonians 1:3 and 2 Thessalonians 1:11 When you understand that...then you'll also understand the difference in the two teachings you mentioned. There is no difference.

When god gives a new soul...then faith is included with that. That new faith will also produce works. Bada-bing.

Problem solved. Case closed. UPDATE: There IS such a thing as counterfeit faith.

Faith that does NOT lead to salvation. Don't believe it? Learn the parable of wheat and tares.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
