Why were the Gospels only written 70-100 years after the supposed death of Jesus?

As for the fragment it is claimed to be a 4th century copy of a previously unknown gospel for which there is absolutely no evidence it ever existed! Now all the experts say it is easily shown to be a forgery! How desperate can Christians get?!

I haven't seen anyone who's using that as evidence that Jesus had a wife. Indeed, it's now suspected of being a forgery. The only people who would say something like that don't know anything about history, and who really cares what they think?

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
