Why north Indians insist on speaking Hindi language in India?" Hindi is the lingua franca of North India so it's pretty obvious for north indians to speak Hindi just like all Americans including Cherokees speak English. "why its so important?
Every state has its own language. Some of are much older than Hindi . For example, Tamil and Kannada." "Older" and "better" are cultural terms and are insignificant for day to day user.
You are answering your question yourserlf. Every state has its own language and Hindi is the language of almost all north Indian states. Do you expect a Rajasthani to communicate in Tamil?
"why its given more status than just a communication language? Is it becoz 4-5 states out of 32 states in India speak Hindi?" "More" or "Less", although irrelevant, depend upon numbers. Hindi speakers are more than any other local language speaker so politicians, in a bid to appease hindi speakers, might provide a higher status to hindi.
Firstly 32 states doesn't matter. Number of residents matter. Many north eastern states have population equalling one district of uttar pradesh.
Secondly, if you think that hindi is spoken in just 4-5 states then you can't be more wrong. Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttaranchal, Jharkhand, Himachal, M.P., Chattisgarh and UP-Bihar (nation in itself) have hindi as their official language. Hindi is also spoken in Punjab, Gujarat and parts of Maharashtra.
"in the name of language they are bullying over other states. If somebody says something against it , they name him anti-national!" Generalisation and fallible.
Dear, you must know that Hindi is our National language and we must pride over it. It is an obligatory for every Indian to know national Language. As far as Tamil or any other state language concern, we respect that and treat it as a second language.
If Tamil become National Language we don't mind to accept or speak this language. Tamil love to speak English language which is foreign language but hate Hindi. Do you think it is good.
No Dear.....it should not......Hindi language has it own respect and status and Tamil and other language has its own.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
