Wireless connection drops frequently I am sitting about two feet from my wireless router, and every 15 minutes or so the connection drops. Any ideas why? Thanks, Asked by jlb1948 57 months ago Similar questions: wireless connection drops frequently Consumer Electronics > Cell Phones & Accessories.

Most likely buggy drivers or firmware This kind of thing happens very often with bad drivers and/or router firmware. To determine the culprit, try and find another computer you can borrow and that has different wireless adapter and/or drivers installed. See if it also drops connections.
Also, try your computer with another wireless access point (if it's a laptop, just stop by at any place with a hotspot). These tests may give you some clues, but they are in no way definitive. It is possible that there's some kind of incompatibility between your devices, while everything else works fine.In this situation it is difficult to determine, which side is not obeying the communication standards.
In any case, it always makes sense to download and install the latest wireless adapter driver (get it from you computer's manufacturer's web site, or, if your wireless adapter is made by Intel, from Intel support - their generic drivers are pretty good), and install the latest firmware for the wireless router. If it doesn't help, and you have confirmed that your computer works fine with other wireless devices, you may want to trash the existing router and buy a new one. This may sound like a radical solution, but sometimes it's better to spend $50 on a new device than suffer through hours of troubleshooting.
My personal recommendation is to get something from Linksys - while their devices are not faultless, they tend to behave better than everything else in the same price range.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
