No, I don't. I used to try with the old search feature but it was so bad that it was next to impossible to search for anything. But, I don't think they want that.

They simply want more and more traffic. That being said, subjecting Amazon customers to Askville in search of customer support is where you draw the line. AV should ask newbies if they're looking for Amazon/Kindle support when they start the AV registration process, if yes, then redirect them to Amazon.

Otherwise their questions either die on the vine, we redirect them to Amazon, or in a handful of instances we actually help them (certainly not as well as Amazon would, I assume. )Who would in their right mind would want to subject their customers to that run around? .

I agree, but think of the cheap labour there getting. Thanks for your input BosM Squeeky-changes-suck 11 months ago .

No. I often use google to find the answer, though.

I know I have found answer to half these questions, with a second Google search. Thanks for your input. Squeeky-changes-suck 11 months ago .

Oh I know what you mean, thats why most of these newbies post the same question ,that has been asked 15 times in the last 24 hours alone. Thanks for your reply. Squeeky-changes-suck 11 months ago .

Sometimes I search and sometimes I don't. But like BosM says about the Amazon customers may have a little truth to it. Could it be that the reason we are seeing so many Amazon customers is because Amazon itself may be overloaded with questions and they are directing some of the load of questions to Askville.

That could be why we are seeing so many Amazon questions here. Or not.

And very cheap labour. Thanks for your reply rainbowsun. Squeeky-changes-suck 11 months ago .

It does say Askville by Amazon. This is also causing people to think they can come here about there products and problems.

No, I try to only answer questions I feel qualified to answer, Questions I have experienced, or to view my opinion of a matter.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
