I don't remember exactly who or when, but there was a doctor that Katie Couric once interviewed on the Today Show who said that our soils are so depleted by chemicals used in farming that foods have no nutritional value anymore, and we all should be taking a multi-vitamin. I take a multi and several specific vitamin and herbal supplements. When I stop taking them, I can tell a definite difference in how I feel, even though I eat a very healthy diet.
I truly believe what the doctor said, and that if we gave our children and ourselves vitamin supplements daily, there wouldn't be so much ADHD, behavior problems, autism, or chronic illnesses.
Yes I take a Vitamin B Complex supplement because my energy is so low. I do believe we need them if we don't get enough fruits and vegetables every day. With busy lifestyles, a lot of people probably don't get enough vitamins in their diets on a daily basis.
I went to the doctor for low energy and found out my Vitamin B12 levels were low. They gave me an injection but it did not seem to help. So I bought the B Complex and take it every day.It hasn't started helping yet but it takes a while to kick in.
