Perhaps the best course of action to take is going to see your PCP: Primary Care Physician they can tell you if the scalp problem actually is Psoriasis. This is could also be dermatitis, which is another condition of the scalp that is similar to Psoriasis in symptoms but has different causes, and different forms of treatment. So it’s a good idea to confer with your doctor about what you should do about your scalp problem.
If it is Psoriasis there are of course medicated creams and medicated shampoo brands out there, that are used to help treat Psoriasis. Usually your doctor will recommend one to you. You can also use some natural remedies to help treat the problem such as using Apple Cider Vinegar, taking Fish Oil Capsule, and even direct sunlight.
You can find a whole list of the different home remedies for Psoriasis over at the Grandma’s Home Remedies website. http://www.grandmashomeremedies.com/home-remedies-for-psoriasis.html.
