I am changing a pull chain switch to my ceiling fan, the switch has 2 black wires coming out of it. Their is a white w and a blue wire coming out of the fan . What goes what.

If the available wires on the new switch don't match the old switch, then you have the wrong switch. The connections should be redone exactly as they were on the old switch. You DID pay attention to that, didn't you?

I thought it would be a simple rehook up their is a white wire and a blue wire coming out of the fan and a pull chain that I am trying to connect it has 2 black wires the other pull chain broke Fitzi 9 months ago .

Ok. You should have blue and white from the fan; two wires from the switch, and black (or another color) and white from the light kit. White connects to white.

And one wire from the switch connects to the blue from the fan, and the other to the colored wire from the light kit.
